A song starts with a banjo and people instantly turn their heads. But then the lead singer begins and the listener is encapsulated by the "Little Lion Man." The listener wants more and more of this unique sound, and then there is the emotional, passionate yell from "The Cave." This was the beginning of Mumford & Songs with their first album Sigh No More, and ever since their tour people have been itching for more. Now their second album titled Babel is here, and the banjo playing, lyrically emotional band did not disappoint. With their first single from the album "I Will Wait" we see a song comparable to "Winter Winds" or "Roll Away Your Stone." From what I have been able to listen to so far, I absolutely love the album and think that it more than exceeds the expectations that were put forth from their freshman album dominance - no sophomore slump here.
